Our Valentine - Terese

We are so excited to announce Terese was chosen to receive a Small Starter Kit this Valentine's Day from Stamp-n-Storage! Terese demonstrates loving people through her visits to the Oak Creek Correctional Facility. Each Sunday she volunteers at the facility, offering card making projects for the youth who are incarcerated. 

Terese's projects are such a blessing at Oak Creek because it gives the youth an opportunity to send a card to friends and family. She begins each session with a scripture reading, discussion and prayer. She is able to connect with the youth, offering her friendship and occasionally one-on-one mentoring to the women.

Terese also does a Christmas gift drive each year. She delivers gifts from the community to the facility and attends their annual Christmas party. For some, this is the only gift they'll receive on Christmas.
